Eganism on Failure

Show Notes:

Failure is a fact of life. Don’t let it establish your mindset.

Failure should be anticipated and you should have a predetermined reaction ready to go when it occurs.

Don’t give up.  You have to grab failure by the throat and say, “No!  I will not let you win!”

Final Point:  Failure is most often a temporary defeat encountered on the road to success.

SRN Eganism – Courage

All Eganisms are now available on Salem Radio Network (SRN) Nationwide

Courage is a requisite for the mastery of fear, danger, risk, and intimidation.

Courage also means having the guts to face your weaknesses and the truth.

The amount of courage one has determines the expansion or contraction of his or her life.

Courage is an attribute of good character and is a virtue that is held in high esteem along with justice, wisdom, prudence, and temperance.

without courage, it is difficult to practice any other virtue

When I think of exceptional courage, I think about September 11, 2001,

when rescuers entered the burning World Trade Center towers.

Their ethereal facial expressions trumped any personal trepidation over the impeding peril.

I believe they entered knowing angels were by their side, and knowing for certain about their very near tragic future.

Final Point: Courage is having the guts to face fear even when you are afraid.

Eganism – Character

Eganisms are now available on Salem Radio Network (SRN) Nationwide

Character is the sum of one’s attitudes and behavior that forms a persons personality.

We all know of people who have gained great financial success but have done so through the practice of corrupt and selfish character

How does character affect your level of true success which I describe as the amount of value and benefit you bring to others?

Good character is prized by the wise and includes trustworthiness, courage, consideration, responsibility and fairness.

Bad character is a stain upon oneself: it includes arrogance, a hot temper, deceit and dominance.

Character, then, is at the very center of who you are.

Character is more than reputation which is what others think of you.

Whereas Character is about what and who you are.

Final Point: Don’t confuse character with outward appearance because the true character is based on inward attitude and resultant behavior.
